Rachel Geballe
Staff Attorney (Foreclosure Prevention)
Rachel Geballe works in the Foreclosure Prevention Project at South Brooklyn Legal Services, funded by a fellowship from Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She represents low-income homeowners facing foreclosure due to predatory mortgage lending. As a law student, Ms. Geballe interned at the Fair Housing Justice Center of HELP USA, assisting individuals who suffered discrimination in the housing market on the basis of race, national origin, and disability, and with the Foreclosure Prevention Project. Ms. Geballe received her B.A., cum laude, from Yale University in 2001, and her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2007, where she was both a Stone and a Kent Scholar.
